Expansion of Holiday Clubs into Townships and Rural Communities:
Kumkani Hintsa District responded to the call to expand the holiday clubs to the Townships and Rural Communities.
The boarder Region which is made up by seven circuits within the area of Gompo City,jointly planned Holiday club for the children coming from these seven circuits, the context of these circuits it is Suburban, Semi Rural, Township Communities.
The circuits that came together are namely; Buffalo City Central Mission Circuit 313, Mdantsane Central 314, Nahoon Coastal 316, Mdantsane North 339 and Mdantsane South 385,
The Holiday Cub was hosted by Nahoon Coastal Circuit. The following activities were part of the Holiday Club:
– Powerful Praise and Worship that was Child and youth centred
– Children’s Interactive Bible studies
– Life and Leadership Skills
– Team-Building & Fellowship Activities
– Health and Wellness Education
– Art and craft games
It was a beautiful experience of learning, fellowship and fun for children.
